Sharon Innes
Dettol Community Nurse of the Year 2004
Sharon has been a health visitor for three years and is currently working as a specialist nurse for safeguarding children across the borough of South Tyneside, supporting staff who are working with children in the community. She has a son, Brandon Bryron, aged seven years old.

Sue Nutbrown
Chair of the RCN Practice Nurse Association
Sue has been a practice nurse in Sheffield for 18yrs, specialising in first contact care and respiratory care. She has a keen interest in the training & education of primary care nurses and is a visiting lecturer at the University of Sheffield. Sue has been the Chair of the Royal College of Nursing Practice Nurse Association for 3 years. Married with 3 children, Sue's pastimes include swimming and voluntary work with the British Red Cross Society.

Sandra Rote
Director of Nursing and Community Service at North Birmingham Primary Health Care Trust Sandra lives in Solihull with her 12-year-old daughter Lauren. Sandra is a registered general  nurse, midwife, and health visitor and has spent all of her professional career in the Birmingham area. She has a Masters Degree in Health Care Policy and Management.

Sandra has particular interest in community development and worked on community development projects in Small Heath and Newtown before becoming a professional development nurse with the then Total Purchasing Pilot for Sutton Coldfield which later progressed to be Sutton Coldfield PCG. Since then, Sandra has had a range of other jobs including General Manager and Assistant Director of Nursing for Birmingham Specialist Community Trust. She was recently seconded to the Department of Health to work on the Public Health White Paper.

Mark Jones
Director CPHVA
Mark is responsible for the day to day management and strategic direction of the CPHVA, heading up a team of professional officers with expertise across the full spectrum of health visiting and community nursing. Personally, Mark has pioneered developments in primary care roles, in particular practice nursing, the nurse practitioner, nurse prescribing, and NHS Direct, in addition to acting as an adviser on US health care policy.

Anne Duffy
Director Community & District Nursing Association
The CDNA is the only specialised independent union that solely represents community and district nurses. Having trained as a nurse in Belfast, Anne has worked in various roles including ward sister, district nurse, community nurse manager, and healthcare consultant before becoming Director of the Community and District Nursing Association in January 2003.
